Every tennis club or centre have different requirements, court time availability and financial situations to evaluate when preparing a tennis club programme. But below is a list of items that should be in every programme where possible.

A minimum of 1 weekend and 1 midweek session of each category depending on the size of the club, the number of coaches and the allowance of court space.

Ensure your programme is not just about coaching.
Place a major emphasis on the following match-play formats:
It is important that players get to understand why they have coaching and how to administer the skills they are learning into match-play situations.
Where possible it would be great to establish some 'Girls Only' groups and squads.
Girls value the friendship gained from playing in groups with their friends. This also help establish new friendships too and in turn the girls tend to stay in the sport much longer.
Have a full coaching programme for both Men and Women.
Also ensure that they have opportunites to grow within the club structure.
Set-up the following group levels.
Adult cardio-fitness tennis sessions. Great fun and a brilliant way to get fit for all standards. Good entry level group to get players involved in tennis. It does not matter about playing ability, just get yourself fit!!
